Paper flowers

Taught myself how to make paper flowers the other day by watching videos from you tube..........Here are a couple I made last night. Two tecniques, petal tecnique and quilled tecnique.

Going into town today

"The Works" are finally closing down today (boo hoo) so thought I would take myself to town and see if I can grab any last minute bargains. If I do will let you know later on. Toddle Pip

BORED,BORED,BORED

Hubby's cooking dinner and I have been pottering about, grabbed PC from my son and have been playing with a paint/photo software. Here's what I did. Arrghhhhh well have tried uploading them but some bizarre reason I am not allowed, will see what's up and report back later- Toodle Pip

Funny ole day really

Not had the get up and go today but this afternoon sat and watched "you tube" and taught myself some new crafty tricks- quilling to the extreme lol-large paper flowers and I learnt how to make paper roses. I have made my sister the painting she wanted but not the style, hope she likes it and it goes with her new red leather sofa's!!!

The picture is A3 and background is kind of stippled(photography rubbish) in cream-lemon, beige and iridescent pearl. The flowers are quite big, I was going to paint in stems and stalks and decided I thought it was enough and to finish off added coloured beads to the centres.

Friday AGAIN

I can't believe how quick time is going, do you find that too?
It's flipping Friday again and I am not prepared for crafting with the kids this afternoon! Will have to do some quick research and see what the Internet has to offer or else scan my books or stash and see if anything jumps out at me!
Have been busy this morning, doing the housework thing and still feeling the urge to scrub floors, I did my bathroom today. Waste of time really as A) no one will even notice and B) it will be trashed say oh come 6pm lol.
What us woman have to put up with lol........ On that note I am off to see what I can muster up for this afternoon. Toodle Pip

This and that

Been finishing off things past couple of days.

Starting to build up a collection for craft fayres, which is all well and good, just need to find some venues now.

The moulds are what I made from face moulds I already had on ATC's and as you can see, they have worked really well- I pushed the paper clay over the original mould and let it dry on the radiator. The two face moulds are ones I made from my replica moulds-tadarrrrrr.

Weekends efforts

Have been playing with some more domino's, all I need to do now is change them from domino's to necklaces.............

The jigsaw is going to hang in my bathroom, I was going to do one for my kitchen but when I started painting it, it kinda started looking like it needed to go in the bathroom. Oh well, will have do do another for my kitchen.

That time of year again

It's that time of year again, you know where you know spring is around the corner and evrything looks drab inside and out- So last night(friday) I started decorating my kitchen and finished it off today. (why is it when you decorate one rom-the whole house looks like a pig-sty?) Finished about 6pm, cooked dinner and smeaked off to my craft table and did a few more domino's. Tomorrow, or should I say today I plan to paint the hallway and up the stairs- freshen it up with some fresh white paint! but then again I might say narr and sit at my craft table lol
Right I need matchsticks for my eyes now, so I shall say goodnight-Goodnight x

Friday

Well did town this morning with hubby and went to tesco's, got myself some more domino's and also managed to talk him into going to poundland. Bought some more beads as this afternoon I have my class at Harry's school. Today we are going to be making necklaces or braecelets, depending on how much time we have left. Talking of which I had better get my butt in gear-will cacth up with you later- Toodle pip

The bracelets are what I did with my school group this afternoon-good job this time I have an all girl group, so I can do all the girly things!!

Altered Domino for group swap

This is my altered domino for our group swap. Green is not one of my favourite colours but I enjoyed playing with green and gold. I am enjoying the beading too. Our local poundland have some good selection of beads at the mo-the green stars are from there.
